Straight fences, level decks and porches you can sit on in October. Built by the same crew that does the rest of your yard.
A fence is only as straight as its posts, and a deck is only as solid as its footings. In Buffalo both have to go below the frost line, which means 42 inches or deeper, or the first winter will push them out of line.
We build vinyl, wood and aluminum fences, composite and pressure-treated decks, and open or screened porches. Because we also do the landscaping, the yard around the new build gets finished properly instead of left as a mud strip.
Six foot vinyl privacy for backyards, cedar and pressure-treated wood, ornamental aluminum for front yards, and chain link where it makes sense. Gates hung to swing clear of snow.
Leaning posts, rotted rails, blown-down panels and gates that drag. We repair what can be saved and stain or seal wood fences so they last.
Composite or wood decks with railings, stairs and built-in benches, framed on concrete footings below frost. Sized for the way you actually use the yard.
Board replacement, railing upgrades, structural fixes and a proper clean and seal so the deck stops graying and splintering.
Front porch rebuilds, new floors and railings, and three-season screened porches that keep the mosquitoes out from June to September.
Erie County requires footings at 42 inches, and we go deeper on clay sites. Posts set in gravel with concrete collars drain instead of sitting in a bucket of ice.
Decks and porches carry real snow load here. We frame to the code snow load for Buffalo, not the state minimum, and use hardware rated for it.
Vinyl is priced per linear foot installed, with gates extra. A typical city backyard runs between 120 and 200 feet. We measure, confirm the property line with you and give you a written price that includes post removal and haul-away of any old fence.
We recommend one if you do not know where the line is. Many towns also require a fence permit and have height limits for front yards. We pull the permit and follow the local rules.
Composite costs more up front and needs almost nothing afterward. Pressure-treated wood costs less and needs cleaning and sealing every two or three years. Both are framed the same way underneath. We build either and will price both.
We build fences and decks from April through November. Frozen ground makes footings slow and expensive, so we schedule the build for spring and do the design and permits over the winter.
Tell us the town and what the yard needs. We call back, walk it with you, and put the price in writing.
